Primary Modules 1, 2, 3, and 4.

A certificate of attendance will be provided at the end of each primary module and will enable you to apply the skills and information you have learnt in your work. It is also the first step to further training to become a listed associate of Active Birth and Relaxed Birth and Parenting. For more information click on the Associateship button.

PLEASE NOTE:

Module 1 - Teaching Active Birth ©:

A certificate of attendance will enable you to apply Active Birth Teaching skills in your work or to progress to become a certified Janet Balaskas Active Birth Workshop © Teacher.

Because this is only part of the training to teach Active Birth Workshops, the words 'Active Birth' cannot be used in the title of your course, class or workshop on the basis of the certificate of attendance for Module 1 alone. You may however use the words 'Active Birth' in any course description and display the certificate of attendance.

On receipt of your certificate of attendance you will be asked to sign a document of your agreement to these terms.

Module 2 - The Seven Secrets of Birth and Active Birth ©

The certificate of attendance will enable you to use the 7 words method in your work as a practitioner having been trained to use the 7 Secrets of Birth questionnaire, or to progress to the Relaxed Birth and Parenting Doula Training ©.

We issue 2 types of certificate

1. Certificate of Attendance
Awarded after completion
of Primary Modules

Awarded after completion
of Certification Courses
1 and 2.

1. Janet Balaskas Active Birth Workshop Teacher Training ©

A full certificate will be awarded on completion of the course requirements and entitle you to become a listed Active Birth Associate.

You can advertise as a trained Janet Balaskas Active Birth Workshop © teacher, use the logo and words 'Janet Balaskas Active Birth Workshop ©' in your workshop or course title and to apply for listing as an associate and certified teacher on her websites.

2. Relaxed Birth and Parenting Doula Training ©

A full certificate will be awarded on completion of the course requirements.

This will entitle you to become an associate of Relaxed Birth and Parenting and Active Birth and to become an accredited (by FEDANT) and insurable doula.
